'The Distance' by Yousef Kargar has been set to screen at the 35th Busan International Short Film Festival in South Korea.
Kargar's short flick tells the story of Yashar, a native Iranian who returns home after several years to give news to his friend’s family, unaware of the news he would hear from that family.
'The Distance' is scheduled to join Shiva Sadeq-Asadi's 'Maned & Macho' to screen at the Busan film festival in the South Korean city of the same name.
The 35th Busan International Short Film Festival will screen a lineup of 42 films from 35 countries.
The event is scheduled to run from April 24-29, 2018.
Founded in 1980, the Busan International Short Film Festival is the oldest short film festival in South Korea. More than 1,400 short films from around the world participate in the event.
